The origin story of the yellow Transformer known as Bumblebee.

"Bumblebee" is an endearing film with a lot of heart. With fewer explosions than previous instalments and a greater focus on characters and story, this film breathes new life into a tired franchise. The titular character is charming and steals every scene he's in, but his human companions do an admirable job, too. Some plot points may err on the cheesy side, but the retro setting and stellar soundtrack easily make up for it, giving us a refreshingly enjoyable action romp. Dive in.
