A New Yorker decides to turn her life around, starting by running a block at a time, in training for a bigger goal.

This smart indie movie explores women's insecurities without stooping to being patronising, an enormous relief. Living in the big city is, of course, complex and complicated. But for being the city of the world's largest marathon, this could be life anywhere. There's a deep emotional connection that comes from this being a dialogue-driven effort, with witty repartee favoured over action. The idea is to get out of your own way and get behind yourself.
