Breathe

Biography Drama Romance

Robin Cavendish contracted polio aged 28 and defied the medical fraternity to become a disability advocate, spearheading the development of mobility aids for paralysed people.

With almost two hours of watching time it's just as well that this is a story well worthy of being told. "Breathe" is a romance woven into the lives of two people who were led by circumstances to challenge convention. Their determined optimism is further buoyed by gentle humour, though perhaps it is all painted rosier than real life may have been. A poignant and uplifting reminder to take nothing for granted. Breathe slowly.
