For a band who fought against formula, it's a little disappointing "Bohemian Rhapsody" favours convention in its storytelling. There's nothing gritty or controversial about this ballad, and the film's darker subjects are conveniently glossed over. What we do get, however, is a symphony of electrifying performances from an impeccably selected cast, bringing a set of energetic and fun-filled recitals. Invariably it's the music that steals the show, building towards a rousing finale that puts you front and centre to one of the band's most memorable gigs. Radio Ga Ga.
