Becoming

The camera follows Michelle Obama during the 2019 book tour for her autobiography "Becoming".

This is an intimate and carefully curated portrait of the former First Lady of America. She's on the road selling her book and we're served glimpses of the woman. She talks to her beliefs and ideals and leaves us much to admire, even as we're only served snippets and short clips. Most interesting is when she describes those experiences she lived under intense scrutiny. Her optimism is contagious nonetheless, as she continues to hope for change and talks to an American dream that embraces all. Do come again.
