A ghastly take on the origin story of The Joker.
"Batman: The Killing Joke" is meant to be a dark and depressing exploration of how 'The Joker' came to be. But this animated interpretation of the graphic novel serves no purpose and ends up as a confusing mess. Lack of structure, a missing antagonist, a bizarre musical number and some questionable choices in character interactions do this movie no favours. The only redeeming feature of this film is the voice acting. The joke's on us.
