Bad Times at the El Royale

Seven strangers find themselves at a novelty hotel, each of them harbouring a secret threatened to be exposed.

The incredibly stylistic "Bad Times at El Royale" is a fun genre-mash romp that's quite clever at keeping audiences on their toes. While it boasts an intriguing concept, a stellar cast and plenty of twists that keep the film entertaining, it's a shame that the runtime is stretched well above its limit. There's also nothing more frustrating when it becomes evident that some of the mysteries posed won't get answered. Not entirely bad.
