After the Wedding

A benefactor wants to donate to an orphanage in Kolkata, but when she meets the manager they discover complicated family connections between them.

The backdrop for this emotionally taut production is an opulent corporate world where everything can be controlled and paid for. The plot is clever up until the ending which is uneven enough to fail the entire story, morally at least. Luckily the characters are likable, that's until some shallow aspects are revealed, like being unable to tell the truth for fear of upsetting others. That premise is so funny it's sad or vice versa. No honeymoon.
