A Wrinkle in Time

"A Wrinkle In Time" is bursting with colour and positive reinforcement. Action, adventure and a heady dose of female empowerment are the foundation of this film that is as entertaining as it is puzzling. There's an alarming superficiality to the story, with the majority of the plot points either left unexplained or leaving confusion in their wake. For a movie about learning to love yourself for who you are, it doesn't seem to believe the words it preaches, and we're left with a hollow feeling as a result. Lost in space.
