SFF: A Horrible Woman
Drama
Two young Danish people, Marie and Rasmus, meet and fall in love, but cracks appear in their relationship when they start to live together.
"A Horrible Woman" is a close look at a relationship and how it develops. The director delves right in to examine micro-moments and little aggression that are recognisably familiar. It's intriguing until a gender bias becomes apparent and the exploration starts to look lopsided. It's an error in judgement by the filmmaker. The last couple of scenes are a little contrived but forgiven because until the last minutes this is a psychologically well-constructed movie. Bitchin'.
