Tomas lives in Toronto and goes to Barcelona to see his life-long friend Julian one last time.

A gentle warm comedy about two men and a big slobbering dog called Truman. The fourth central element is omnipresent but is not embodied as a character as it is cancer. Rather than being just another cancer movie this one approaches impending death with a down to earth sense of honesty and weaves in the threads of tragedy with a loving and comedic touch. The friends talk of death and dying, while sorting out how to give the dog a home. True enough.
