"The Dirt" showcases everything you could ever possibly want to know about one of the best-selling bands of all time. The hedonistic lifestyles of the band members make for some audacious scenes; there's plenty of drama and the weaving together of each member's story to complement rather than contradict is done superbly. Long, drawn-out scenes drag the pacing and the mood down significantly in the middle of the film, but overall this is a fun adventure that has been so well cast it's almost scary. Home sweet home.
