The Clan

Buenos Aries in the 1980s and a particularly ruthless family have a profitable business in kidnap and ransom.

While watching "The Clan" keep in mind that as gruesome as it is, this is a true story. There is little context or plot, we're not informed about the social or political backdrop and what there is of a story line is all a little unnerving. The actors give excellent performances particularly considering how preposterous the actions of the real family were. It's gritty to watch and the action, like the excellent camera work, is moody and charged with tension. Truly clandestine.
