She Said

New York Times reporters Megan Twohey and Jodi Kantor uncovered the crimes of Harvey Weinstein and sexual abuse in Hollywood which gave fuel to the fire of the #metoo movement.

"She Said" is a docu-drama about the investigative efforts of a couple of journalists to bring a coverup of crimes to light, and centres on the efforts and lives of those women. To make up for what is visually unexciting, the soundtrack builds and ebbs to enhance scenes. There's an effect on your sense of outrage, and it's easy to see why the events exposed were a catalyst for broader social change. Listen up.
