Percy vs Goliath

Percy Schmeiser is a Saskatchewan canola farmer and the Goliath is Monsanto, an American agrochemical corporation.

Named for a biblical parable, the movie tells the real story of a conglomerate and one of the farmers they sued. Audience preconceptions are relied upon as science and legal arguments aren't explained, but we still know enough to side with the little guy. It's disconcerting that this is related as a small story; where's the tension, fury and outrage? Where are the brows beaded with sweat? The emotive soundtrack? Seeds of discord.
