A hit man who faked his own death is blackmailed into working for a nefarious criminal.
"Mechanic: Resurrection" is supposed to be an action movie, but it never manages to get out of first gear. The story is held together by flimsy character motivations, a romance that has about as much chemistry as a wet sock and action so infrequent, you can nap without missing anything pertinent. The actors may as well be asleep, for all the emotion and conviction they bring to the screen and overall, this whole film is a giant waste of time. Should have stayed dead.
