Four girlfriends reunite for a weekend of adventure and debauchery after spending five years apart.

Crude, rude and unafraid of taking things too far, "Girls Trip" is a surprisingly entertaining endeavour. It's hard to escape the glaring stereotypes at play here, but each character commits to their role wholeheartedly with an exuberance that will likely shock you into laughing out loud. Focusing on friendship and female empowerment, there are some great moments of cultural relevance that are well placed and hilarious, but the excruciating final act lets the entire production down. Grab yourself a grapefruit.
