With stunning visuals, an array of interesting tech gadgets and a slew of top notch performances, "Ghost In The Shell" is a strangely satisfying machine. Fans of the franchise will enjoy sequences lifted and translated directly from the source material, while newcomers will find it equally entertaining. Convenient plot devices aided by bland dialogue are where this story short circuits, but this film will make you ponder life, death and what it means to be alive. Shell-shocked.
