Full Time

A single parent struggles to hold down her various commitments during the Paris transport strike, with each day presenting another challenge.

There's a sense of urgency in "Full Time" that doesn't let up. We feel the protagonist's exasperation as she faces another hurdle and her relentless efforts to keep going against the odds. Her frantic turmoil is accompanied by a soundtrack which is anxiety-inducing in its constancy, reinforcing the pressure and pressing for compassion should she waver. Paris on the screen is not the city tourists will recognise, as this is a story of different lives, social privilege, and the lack of it. Every day in every way.
